There's
a wolf in your dog! It's true, dogs are so closely related
to their wolf ancestors that many classic dog behaviors
- face licking, rolling over, howling and shaking toys -
have their origins in the evolutionary adaptions of wild
wolves. We will explore this relationship in the classroom
by examining breed-specific dog behaviors and observing
the behavior of our ambassador wolf pack.
Let
your pack meet ours! Family-friendly activities include
howling to wild wolves, a wolf tracking hike, observing
our resident wolves, and a campfire complete with s'mores
and wolf tales.
